Your Duties:
Participation in research and development projects for power electronics systems
Design and development of power electronics components, modules, and building blocks
Running power electronics building blocks design simulations
Specification of power electronics components and datasheet analysis of parts
Loss analyses and thermal modeling
Your Profile:
Solid degree in Electrical Engineering (MSc is preferred), with a good theoretical background in power electronics
Previous experience in power electronics converter modules hardware design, development and testing is a plus
Knowledge of power electronic components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, thyristors, diodes, passive components, gate units, etc.)
Knowledge in power electronics simulation tools
Understanding of modular multilevel converters is a plus
Strong work ethic to support design efforts of the team but also ability to work independently
Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach
Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills
